Software R&D Intern - Summer 2026

Nokia Bell Labs is hiring Software R&D Interns for Summer 2026 in Naperville, IL for a 10-week program from June 1 to August 7, 2026. You will work alongside Nokia engineers on next-generation 5G core network products, writing code in C++, Java, or Go, contributing to CI/CD pipelines, and validating features in lab environments. You will be exposed to cloud-native telecom infrastructure (Kubernetes, service meshes) and Nokia's open-source contributions. Qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field; programming experience in at least one modern language; coursework in networking, distributed systems, or operating systems preferred. Paid internship. Nokia hires international students and considers H-1B sponsorship upon full-time conversion.
