2026 Summer Analyst - Underwriting

RenaissanceRe's Summer Analyst Program - Underwriting is a 10-week paid program for rising seniors interested in property catastrophe, casualty, or specialty reinsurance. Interns are based in Stamford, CT or Bermuda and work alongside underwriters on treaty analysis, pricing, and portfolio construction for one of the world's leading reinsurers. The program includes formal training on reinsurance and catastrophe modeling, mentorship, executive speakers, and a capstone project. RenaissanceRe provides housing assistance for non-local interns. Candidates should have a minimum 3.5 GPA in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics, or Finance and demonstrated analytical strength. Return offers to the full-time Analyst Program are common.
