NOAA National Marine Fisheries Service Summer 2026 Stock Assessment Intern

NOAA Fisheries Southeast Fisheries Science Center in Miami, FL is hiring a Summer 2026 intern to support stock assessment scientists evaluating reef fish and highly migratory species. Interns will clean fishery-dependent landings data, run sensitivity analyses in Stock Synthesis, assist with length-composition sampling from commercial vessels, and help produce stock assessment update documents for Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean councils. Paid. U.S. citizenship required. Preferred: graduate students in marine biology, fisheries science, or quantitative ecology with R experience.
