National Park Service Summer 2026 Natural Resource Management Intern

The National Park Service is hiring Summer 2026 Pathways interns to support natural resource management programs at parks across the National Park System, including Yellowstone, Grand Canyon, and Olympic. Interns conduct vegetation surveys, assist wildlife biologists with telemetry and camera-trap monitoring, enter field observations into NPSpecies and IMDP databases, and help produce resource briefs for superintendents. Paid at GS-3/4 with park housing available. U.S. citizenship required. Coursework in biology, ecology, wildlife science, or environmental studies preferred.
