ASPE, the principal policy advisor to the HHS Secretary, is hiring Summer 2026 interns to support research and evaluation on Medicaid, behavioral health, long-term care, and health equity. Interns will pull and clean claims data from MAX/T-MSIS extracts, conduct literature reviews, draft briefings, and attend senior policy meetings. Paid at GS-5/7 equivalent; hybrid work in Washington, DC with at least two days onsite. Graduate-level coursework in health policy, economics, public policy, or biostatistics preferred. U.S. citizenship required.
