Direct Air Capture Process Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

Heirloom is hiring a Summer 2026 DAC Process Engineering Intern in Brisbane, CA to support scale-up of our limestone-based direct air capture technology. You will work on process design, thermodynamic modeling, unit operations characterization, and pilot-plant data analysis. Expect work with Aspen Plus or similar, Python data pipelines, and hands-on time in our DAC facilities. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science; coursework in mass/heat transfer, reaction engineering, and process design; prior internship in process industry preferred.
