Aerospace Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

Zipline is hiring a Summer 2026 Aerospace Engineering Intern in South San Francisco to contribute to our autonomous drone logistics platform that has delivered millions of packages globally. You will work on aerodynamics, structural design, propulsion integration, or flight test analysis for Platform 1 or Platform 2 (Zip) aircraft. Expect hands-on prototyping, analysis in Python/MATLAB, wind-tunnel or flight test data reduction, and collaboration across mechanical, electrical, and software teams. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering; coursework in aerodynamics, structures, or propulsion; CAD proficiency; prior design-build-fly or UAV experience strongly preferred.
