Skydio is hiring a Summer 2026 Autonomy Software Intern in San Mateo, CA to contribute to the autonomous flight stack powering our industry-leading drones. Projects may include visual-inertial state estimation, obstacle avoidance, 3D scene reconstruction, behavior planning, or ML-based perception. You will write production C++ running on real drones in real environments. Qualifications: pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in CS, Robotics, ECE, or Aero; strong C++ and Python; coursework in SLAM, computer vision, controls, or planning; real robotics experience preferred. US person status required due to federal customer work.
