Quantum Machine Learning Research Intern - Summer 2026

Xanadu is hiring a Summer 2026 Quantum Machine Learning Research Intern in Toronto to advance the state of the art in variational quantum algorithms, differentiable quantum programming, and hybrid quantum-classical ML. You will work closely with the PennyLane team, the open-source framework for differentiable quantum programming, contributing research code, benchmarks, tutorials, and potentially co-authoring publications. Qualifications: MSc or PhD student in Computer Science, Physics, or Applied Math with research experience in quantum computing or machine learning; strong Python (PennyLane, JAX, PyTorch, or TensorFlow) skills; prior open-source contributions highly valued.
