Rocket Companies 2026 Summer Intern - Data Science

Rocket Companies' 2026 Summer Data Science Internship is a 12-week paid program in Detroit, MI and Charlotte, NC. Interns work alongside Rocket's data scientists and ML engineers on models that power mortgage underwriting, marketing personalization, servicing analytics, and fraud detection. Deliverables include feature engineering pipelines, model experiments in Python/PyTorch or TensorFlow, and presentations to stakeholders. Program includes technical mentorship, reading groups, and a capstone demo. Preferred majors: Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Operations Research at the Masters or senior undergraduate level.
