American Express 2026 Summer Technology Intern

American Express's 2026 Summer Technology Internship is a 10-week paid program in New York, NY and Phoenix, AZ. Interns join product, platform, data, and security engineering teams building the next generation of Amex's digital card, merchant, and travel experiences. Work spans backend services (Java/Go), cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, AWS), data/ML platforms, and cybersecurity. Program includes technical onboarding, code review with senior engineers, a company-wide hackathon, and a final project demo. Rising juniors and seniors in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science with strong coding fundamentals encouraged to apply.
