United Airlines Software Engineering Intern - Summer 2026

United Airlines is hiring Software Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 at our Willis Tower headquarters in downtown Chicago. Interns join the Digital Technology organization and contribute to united.com, the United mobile app, operations technology for flight and crew scheduling, or our data and AI platforms. You'll write production code in Java, Python, or TypeScript, deploy to AWS, and work with product managers, designers, and senior engineers. 10-week paid program with hackathon, mentor pairing, speaker events, and a capstone presentation. Qualifications: pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related; graduation December 2026 - May 2028; 3.0+ GPA; programming experience in one OOP language.
