American Airlines is hiring IT Interns for Summer 2026 at our Fort Worth, TX HQ. Interns join teams across application development, data engineering, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and digital products - supporting systems that operate more than 6,700 daily flights. Projects include writing production code in Java, Python, or TypeScript, contributing to AA.com and the AA mobile app, enhancing operations platforms for flight planning and crew scheduling, or supporting security tooling across the enterprise. 12-week paid program with structured mentorship, executive speakers, and a capstone. Qualifications: currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related; graduation December 2026 - August 2028; 3.0+ GPA; proficiency in one modern programming language.
