The FedEx Industrial Engineering Internship places top IE and Operations Research students in FedEx Express or Ground operations hubs for Summer 2026 to solve real logistics problems at massive scale. You will partner with senior industrial engineers to conduct time studies, simulate sort operations in FlexSim or AnyLogic, optimize staffing and equipment layouts, and recommend process improvements that save millions annually. Deliverables include a structured capstone with recommendations presented to district leadership.
