Black & Veatch Summer Engineering Intern - Power

Black & Veatch is hiring Summer Engineering Interns to support power generation and transmission projects including natural gas, renewables, storage, and grid modernization. Interns work with senior engineers on equipment specifications, one-line diagrams, load flow analysis in PSS/E, and deliverables for utility clients. The 12-week program is hosted primarily at the Overland Park, KS campus with some rotations to Atlanta and Houston offices. Includes structured training, professional development events, and an end-of-summer capstone. Open to rising juniors and seniors in electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering.
