Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) is hiring Magnet Engineering Interns for Summer 2026 at its Devens, MA campus to support SPARC tokamak construction and ARC commercial fusion plant development. Interns work on HTS (high-temperature superconducting) magnet design, cryogenic systems, structural analysis, or quench protection. Candidates must be pursuing a Master's or PhD in Mechanical, Electrical, or Nuclear Engineering, Applied Physics, or Materials Science, with relevant coursework in electromagnetics, cryogenics, or superconductivity. 12-week paid program with competitive compensation.
