Student Internship – Architecture – Summer 2026 – Chicago

Gensler's Summer 2026 Student Internship places architecture students directly on active project teams in the Chicago office from June 2 through August 7, 2026. Interns collaborate with designers, architects, and project managers on workplace, retail, aviation, and mixed-use projects, contributing to schematic design, documentation, and client presentations using Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite. The program includes portfolio reviews, mentorship from senior designers, field trips to active construction sites, and firmwide intern learning sessions. The hourly pay range for Chicago is $23 to $25 based on education level. Candidates should be currently enrolled in an accredited architecture program and submit a resume and PDF portfolio.
