Harvard Law School Summer Public Interest Fellowship 2026

The Harvard Law School Summer Public Interest Fellowship (SPIF) funds HLS students pursuing 10-week unpaid public interest internships with nonprofits, government agencies, and public defenders offices around the world. SPIF provides a guaranteed $7,500 stipend for any 1L or 2L working at a qualifying public interest placement. Program supports over 500 students annually across human rights, environmental law, immigration, and criminal justice work.
