Software Engineer Intern (AI Platform) - 2026 Summer

ByteDance's AI Platform team is hiring a Software Engineer Intern for Summer 2026. The team focuses on building advanced end-to-end AI production pipelines — deep learning model training, optimization, deployment, and applications — to provide AI capabilities for TikTok, Doubao, and other ByteDance products. Responsibilities include working on large-scale training infrastructure, inference serving for LLMs and multimodal models, and ML platform features used by hundreds of internal teams. Qualifications: Pursuing a BS or MS in CS, ML, or related field; proficiency in Python, C++, or Go; experience with PyTorch, distributed training, or GPU systems a strong plus; strong DS&A and systems fundamentals. 12-week program with multiple summer start dates.
