Software Engineer Intern (Summer 2026)

Block is looking for passionate Software Engineering Interns to join their engineering teams across Block, Square, Cash App, Afterpay, TIDAL, and Spiral for a hands-on Summer 2026 learning experience. As an intern you'll partner with experienced engineers to solve real-world problems, contribute to the codebase, and help build products used by millions. Interns receive one-on-one mentorship, join a cohort of talented interns, access technical workshops, and gain insights into engineering career paths. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related technical field with a graduation date between May 2027 and May 2028; programming experience in Java, Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Go; solid DS&A foundations. Compensation Zone A $46-$51/hr down to Zone D $39-$43/hr.
