Software Engineer Intern, 2026 Summer U.S.

Atlassian is hiring Software Engineer Interns for Summer 2026 across U.S. offices (San Francisco, Mountain View, Seattle, New York, Austin) and remote. The 12-week paid internship program runs May/June-August/September 2026 with rotations in engineering/product and dedicated mentorship. As a Software Engineer Intern, you will contribute to code changes impacting Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Trello, or Loom; gain technical knowledge in product development; and work under Senior Engineers. Qualifications: Currently enrolled full-time in a Bachelors or Masters program in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technical program; must be returning to the program after the internship. Proficiency in Java, Python, C, C++, or other object-oriented languages; understanding of data structures and algorithms. Base pay Zone A: $59-$75/hr, Zone B: $53-$68/hr, Zone C: $49-$62/hr.
