Strategic Football Fellow

The Dallas Cowboys Strategic Football Operations (SFO) Department is hiring a Strategic Football Fellow (summer internship) in Frisco, TX. This position supports coaches, scouts, and front office staff through data-driven football analytics and performance insights. Responsibilities include building analytical models to evaluate players and opponents, developing internal tools and dashboards used by football staff, conducting research on roster construction and in-game strategy, and presenting findings to coaches and executives. Qualifications include a Bachelor's (in progress or completed) in statistics, math, computer science, economics, or related field with strong skills in R or Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Experience with play-by-play or tracking data is preferred. Strong football knowledge and the ability to communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders are essential. This is a paid summer 2026 fellowship.
