2026 NBA Summer Internship Program

The NBA Summer Internship is a 10-week program that runs from early June to mid-August 2026, providing participants with the opportunity to learn about the business of basketball, develop critical career skills, and contribute to meaningful projects across a range of departments within the NBA League Office. Applicants can apply to one of nine postings organized by business area, including Marketing, Global Partnerships, Basketball Operations, Team Marketing & Business Operations, Events, and Media. Interns work a full 40-hour work-week (Monday-Friday), along with optional evening & weekend events, on occasion, including the NBA Draft, WNBA games, NBA Cares events, and other social events to build community throughout the summer. Internships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students; applicants must be either a rising college senior or current graduate student in an accredited institution at the time of the program. Undergraduate internships are paid at $26 per hour, while undergraduate technical internships are paid at $28 per hour.
