Cleary Gottlieb 2026 Summer Associate Program

Cleary Gottlieb's U.S. Summer Program places 2L summer associates in New York and Washington, D.C. Summer associates at Cleary are not assigned to specific practice groups — consistent with the firm's non-departmentalized structure — and work across M&A, capital markets, banking, antitrust, litigation, and international arbitration. The program includes formal training, writing workshops, pro bono opportunities, and international office exchange visits. Summer associates receive market-rate weekly compensation. Applications for Summer 2026 closed in fall 2025.
