Latham & Watkins 1L Diversity Scholars Program 2026

Latham's 1L Diversity Scholars Program offers first-year law students from underrepresented groups a paid summer associate position at one of the firm's U.S. offices plus a $50,000 scholarship disbursed across 2L and 3L years. Scholars engage in meaningful legal work, participate in training alongside 2L summer associates, receive mentorship, and obtain early exposure to Latham's practice areas. Applications required a cover letter, resume, transcript, and diversity statement and closed on December 1, 2025. Scholars receive an offer to return the following summer, contingent on performance.
