1L Diversity Fellowship Program 2026

Sullivan & Cromwell's 1L Diversity Fellowship provides first-year law students from backgrounds historically underrepresented in the legal profession with a paid summer associate position in one of the firm's U.S. offices, a $25,000 scholarship applied to 2L tuition, and a standing offer to return as a 2L summer associate. Fellows receive mentorship from partners and associates, participate in the full summer associate training program, and work on live matters in corporate, litigation, tax, and regulatory practices. Applications for the 2026 program required a resume, cover letter, transcript, and personal statement and closed on December 1, 2025.
