Wilson Center Summer 2026 Staff Assistant Intern, Kennan Institute

The Kennan Institute at the Wilson Center is hiring a Summer 2026 Staff Assistant Intern in Washington, DC. The intern supports scholars researching Russia, Ukraine, and the wider post-Soviet region with tasks including literature reviews, translation of Russian and Ukrainian sources, preparing event briefing packets, managing program listservs, and helping produce the Kennan Cable publication series. Paid at approximately $17.50/hour; hybrid. Open to undergraduates and graduate students with Russian, Ukrainian, or other regional language skills and coursework in Eurasian studies, history, or political science.
