CSIS Summer 2026 Internship, Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program

The CSIS Europe, Russia, and Eurasia Program is hiring a Summer 2026 intern in Washington, DC. The intern supports senior fellows researching transatlantic security, EU policy, Russia's war in Ukraine, and energy geopolitics. Duties include drafting policy memos, preparing briefing materials, supporting event logistics, and monitoring news from the region. Paid at $17.50/hour; hybrid with a minimum of three days onsite. Open to undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates with coursework in international relations, European studies, Russian/Eurasian studies, or a related field; foreign language skills preferred.
