Software Engineer Intern, Hybrid - San Francisco

Coinbase is hiring Software Engineer Interns for a 12-week internship during Summer 2026 in San Francisco. You will join the team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. Interns can be placed in several product groups including Base (Coinbase's Ethereum Layer 2 network), Consumer (the Coinbase retail app and self-custody wallet), and Developer Platform (Wallet-as-a-Service and Coinbase Cloud). Responsibilities: write high quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of your customers; work on projects with engineers, designers, product managers, and senior leadership to help turn product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap. Requirements: programming experience (in a class, for fun, or at a job); most systems are written in Golang, JavaScript, and Ruby but experience with any is not strict; currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or related discipline.
