The DHS Secretary's Honors Program Cyber Student Intern Program places undergraduate and graduate students pursuing cybersecurity-related studies in paid internships across DHS components including CISA, Secret Service, and ICE HSI. Interns conduct hands-on cyber work in digital forensics, network diagnostics, vulnerability analysis, and incident response. Participants receive mentoring and professional development from DHS senior leaders. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required. Positions are primarily in the Washington, DC region with some field office opportunities.
