New York State Summer 2026 Internship Program

The New New York Leaders Program places paid student interns across New York State agencies for Summer 2026, including the Governor's Executive Chamber, Department of Environmental Conservation, Empire State Development, Department of Health, Department of Financial Services, and Department of Taxation and Finance. Interns work in policy analysis, program evaluation, communications, data analysis, and legal support. Applicants must be currently enrolled undergraduate, graduate, or law students. Positions are primarily based in Albany and New York City, with some hybrid and remote flexibility.
