Summer 2026 Internship - Center for American Progress

The Center for American Progress is hiring full-time Summer 2026 interns at its Washington, DC office from June 8 to August 13, 2026. Interns are paid the DC minimum wage of $17.95/hour and placed across departments including Climate and Energy, Economic Policy, Education, Government Affairs, Health Policy, National Security and International Policy, Rights and Justice, and Structural Reform and Governance. Responsibilities include conducting research, supporting policy experts, drafting memos and reports, event coordination, and rapid-response communications. Open to current undergraduate/graduate students and recent grads within six months of graduation.
