Summer 2026, Center for Effective Public Management Internship, Governance Studies

Brookings' Center for Effective Public Management is hiring a Summer 2026 intern to support scholars researching federal management, regulatory policy, civil service reform, and public administration. Interns conduct literature reviews, collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, draft portions of policy briefs, and support publication workflows. The 12-week paid internship is hybrid in Washington, DC, with at least one day per week in-office. Strong candidates will be current undergraduates, graduate students, or recent graduates with coursework in political science, public administration, or public policy.
